State Pension Age Calculator - Check your State Pension Age according to the most recent Government regulations

What is my State Pension Age?

The State Pension Age used to be set at 65 for males and 60 for females, however this started to change to gradually increase the state pension age of both men and women to 66 by 2026. The Government's Spending Review published November 2010, outlined changes to the existing plan which will bring forward these changes so that by 2020 the State Pension Ages for all sexes is 66. This may change again, but we will keep this calculator updated for you.

Our calculator is built around these most recently published Government proposals which are due to be passed into law this Summer (2011).

UPDATE: The Pensions Bill 2011 received Royal Asset on 3rd November 2011.

The Act puts into law changes to the State Pension age timetable. From April 2016, women's State Pension age will rise faster than originally planned, equalising with men's at 65 by November 2018. Between December 2018 and October 2020, men and women's State Pension ages will be increased from 65 to 66.

The calculator below now reflects these changes!
