Details of a fifth SEISS grant were announced in today's Budget.
The grant will cover the months of May to September 2021, but the payout will only cover three months.
In a change to previous grants, claimants are asked if they have suffered a 30 percent or more drop in turnover in the period from April 2020 to April 2021. If the claimant has then payouts will be based on 80 percent of profits capped at £7,500. However, if not then payouts will be based on 30 percent of profits capped at £2,850.
